Families come in many shapes, ages, and seasons. At Oceanside First Presbyterian Church, children, parents, grandparents, singles, and older adults worship, learn, serve, and build relationships together.
Come with your questions, your children’s energy, and your imperfect week.
You will find biblical teaching, caring people, and room to participate at your own pace.

Children are welcome in worship with their families, and Kids Ministry is available for infants through fifth grade.
Our trained, background-checked team offers age-appropriate Bible teaching, secure check-in and pickup, and patient support for children who need extra time to settle in.
Prefer to stay together? That is welcome too. Your family can participate in the way that feels most comfortable.
Kids Ministry check-in opens Sundays at 9:50 AM.

Pastor Mike Killeen believes we all have complicated stories and families.
He leads with warmth, humility, humor, and a living balance of grace and truth. He does not expect parents to have faith figured out or family life cleaned up before coming to church.
Mike’s hope is that preschool families, people returning to church, and those exploring faith will become genuinely known and supported—not overwhelmed or treated like projects.
The person you meet over coffee is the same person you see leading worship: honest about life, hopeful about what God can do, and glad to make room for a real conversation.
From a child’s first Bible story to a teenager’s honest questions, we want every generation to be known, encouraged, and helped to follow Jesus.

You do not need to know where to go, how everything works, or how your children will respond. We will help you find parking, locate Kids Ministry check-in, and choose a comfortable place to sit.
Your children do not need to be perfectly quiet. You do not need to have faith figured out. Come with your questions, your children’s energy, and the week you actually had.
You can participate at your own pace, and no one will pressure your family to do more than you are ready for.
There is room here for your family to
