  • We Love First Pres

    We love First Pres!
We as kids went to First Pres and to now have our kids there is such a full circle.
We grew as parents as much as our kids grew with the wonderful staff here. I have never seen or heard of a preschool comparable to First Pres. Every kid feels like they are the only one in that school. Every teach knows your kid - its all our kids talk about when they come home. The parents you meet and befriend are amazing we can't say enough about what this place has meant to us as a family.

  • A Wonderful Experience

We've had such a wonderful experience with this preschool. From day one, the environment has been incredibly welcoming, making both my daughter and our family feel comfortable and supported.

This was my daughter's first time in a school environment, and I was naturally a bit nervous. The teachers (Mrs. Marks and Mrs. Saldaña) took the time to walk me through what to expect and gave helpful guidance on how to navigate those first couple of weeks. They reassured me that the transition period was normal and they were absolutely right. With their support and encouragement, my daughter adjusted beautifully. By week three, she was excited, happy, and eager to go to school each day.

The teachers are attentive, caring, and truly invested in the children. I really appreciate how they take the time to provide daily summaries at pickup, so I always know how my daughter's day went. It gives me so much peace of mind.

The school also does a great job of keeping parents informed about upcoming events and activities, which helps us stay involved and better support our daughter's growth and development.

Overall, I'm so grateful for the positive, nurturing environment they've created. It's clear they genuinely care about the children and their families

  • We had heard nothing but positive things about this school.

We love First Presbyterian Preschool! We had heard nothing but positive things about this school. We decided to enroll our 3 year old after touring and learning that she would be in a class with two teachers and about 12-18 classmates. We come to realize all the things we had heard and were told by the administrators were true.

The school has exceeded our expectations which were already high. What we found above and beyond were how they encourage the families to be involved in the school community. Hosting monthly family nights for the kids to play and the parents to meet. Hosting holiday parades and events for the kids to participate and experience. And inviting families to participate in family chapel.

The teachers coordinate season/holiday specific activities and encourage parents to donate festive items and foods for added fun. We love hearing our child tell us about their fun-filled day at school, about the friends they are making, and what they are learning about from their fantastic teachers!

  • My child loves this school, and so do I!

My child loves this school, and so do I!

It is right off El Camino and close to the freeway. There is plenty of parking opportunities and the school feels safe. We love our teachers and the kids learn so much.

What attracted me first to the school was the creative learning the kids are exposed to. Candy in the main office is always sweet and makes you feel welcome. I love the weekly activities that are posted at the door and their playground is nicely organized.

It is pretty big and offers enough room to ride a bike and for the kids to run around. They have been open during covid and keeping everyone safe. The parents waiting to pick up their kids are always friendly and helpful , too. In general, this school feels like a good fit for us and we love everyone working there.
