Kids Ministry at Oceanside First Presbyterian Church offers age-appropriate Bible teaching, worship, conversation, and hands-on activities during Sunday worship.
Children: Kids Ministry through fifth grade
Nursery: Generally available for infants through age two, depending on staffing

Our trained, background-checked team will explain the check-in and pickup process when you arrive.
Kids check-in can be simple.
Check-in opens at 9:50 AM for the 10 AM service.
Visit the Family Welcome Station in the church lobby when you arrive.
Check in at the Family Welcome Station and receive your child’s secure pickup information.
Meet the team. Meet your child’s leaders, see the age-appropriate room, and tell us about any allergies, needs, or concerns.
Pick up. After worship, return to your child’s room and use your secure pickup information.
Need more time? Stay with your child for a few minutes or bring them with you to worship. Children are always welcome.

Each Sunday, children explore an age-appropriate Bible story through teaching, worship, conversation, and hands-on activities. They leave with a central idea, a practical next step, and a question your family can continue discussing at home.

Are Kids Ministry volunteers background-checked?
Yes. Volunteers who serve with minors complete the church’s required background screening and safety training before serving.
What if my child has allergies or needs additional support?
Tell us about allergies, medical needs, or additional support at check-in.
A ministry leader will explain the current snack practices and discuss what support is available that Sunday.
What if my child feels nervous or cries at drop-off?
That is normal, especially on a first Sunday. You may stay for a few minutes while your child settles. If your child needs you during worship, we will use the contact information provided at check-in.
Can my child stay with me in the worship service?
Yes. Children are always welcome in worship. Families may begin in the sanctuary and move to Kids Ministry when their child feels ready. Activity bags are available.

Children are always welcome in the sanctuary.
